Train-the-Trainer: Applying Adult Learning Theory
This course is part of the Train-the-Trainer curriculum for employees who perform training functions at New England Donor Services. Preceptors learned how to apply adult learning principles to effectively teach critical functions and reinforce skill development during on-the-job training.
I used Articulate Rise to develop this course and along with Camtasia to develop videos embedded within the course.
This section covered strategies to make learning stick.
This included examples of the concept of managing cognitive load.
This interaction modeled the strategy of using recall to hardwire concepts.
