BTM is NEDS’ system for supply management. Since January 2017, I developed 25 BTM-related learning solutions ranging from online courses related to process improvements, support for training during department meetings, and design & development for instructor-led training related improvement initiatives. The following was used for measuring effectiveness of BTM learning solutions:

• Reduction in BTM-related errors
• Increase in Operational Percent Accuracy (OPA) of inventory supply storage locations

Results showed that the number of BTM-related errors dropped dramatically BTM launched in 2016. OPA for tissue supply rooms has been steadily on the rise since it first began to be tracked in 2018.
